Cross River State Governor, His Excellency, Senator (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu, represented by his Deputy, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, attended the 6th meeting of the National Council on Niger Delta (NCND) held at the Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
The meeting, themed, “Stimulating Strategies for Economic Growth and Development in the Niger Delta Region” provided an avenue for critical stakeholders of the region to share ideas on issues that affect the region and hence stimulate ideas for the growth and development of the region.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs in collaboration with the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), was graced by President Bola Tinubu, ably represented by the Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, Governors and critical stakeholders of the oil-rich region.
