Calabar, 23rd November 2024 – The Executive Chairman of Biase Local Government Area, Hon. Edodi Edodi Eyong, joined Her Excellency, Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, the First Lady of Cross River State, at the 2024 Solemn Assembly held at the U.J. Esuene Stadium, Calabar.
The spiritually charged event, spearheaded by the Cross River State Government, brought together leaders from all 18 Local Government Areas, clergy, and dignitaries across the state to seek divine guidance, blessings, and protection for the state and its people.
Her Excellency, Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, led the call for spiritual reflection, emphasizing the role of prayer in fostering unity, peace, and progress in the state. In her address, she highlighted the significance of the Solemn Assembly as a platform for leaders and citizens to rededicate themselves to God’s purpose for Cross River State.
