The Biase Rescue Movement (BRM), a leading sociopolitical organization in Cross River State, has officially handed over a newly remodeled traffic stand to the Akpet Central community in Biase Local Government Area.
The handover ceremony, held in the heart of the community, was attended by local leaders, traditional rulers, community members, and representatives of the BRM.
Speaking at the event, the Director General of the BRM, Mr. Solomon Arikpo, who represented the group’s Grand Patron, Dcn. Andy Owai, emphasized the organization’s commitment to grassroots development and fostering unity in the local government area.
He described the remodeled traffic stand as a testament to BRM’s dedication to enhancing community infrastructure and ensuring a safer and more organized environment for both residents and visitors.
The traffic stand, located at a key junction in Akpet Central, has been redesigned with modern features, durable materials, and shaded areas to protect traffic officers from harsh weather conditions. It is expected to improve traffic management and overall road safety in the area.
