Cross River State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, on Wednesday, received in audience the President of Prince 7 Youth Development Initiative (P7YDI), Prince Godswill Edward, at his office in Government House, Calabar.
During the meeting, Rt. Hon. Odey commended Prince Edward for his renewed advocacy for youth development, particularly through sports. He noted that such initiatives are vital in discovering and harnessing young talents, curbing social vices, and fostering unity across communities.
The Deputy Governor further assured that the government remains committed to supporting genuine initiatives that empower young people and drive grassroots development across the state.. 
Speaking earlier, the Chairman and Founder of Eddyliz Printz Express, Prince Godswill Edward lauded the Deputy Governor for his unwavering loyalty to Governor Bassey Edet Otu, describing him as “a strong loyalist and supporter of the ‘People First’ agenda of Governor Bassey Otu”
He urged governments at all levels to engage more young people in governance and development activities, stressing that youth inclusion would help reduce rising social vices and improve the socio-economic status of the state.
