The Cross River State Forum of Ward Relation Officers (CRS-FWRO) has formally launched a robust, state-wide grassroots mobilisation of 98,000 committed and eligible supporters in total alignment with the progressive leadership and transformative vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Governor Apostle Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu.

This strategic political mobilisation is being driven through the Forum’s well-coordinated ward-based structure, with each Ward Relation Officer (WRO) charged with mobilising no fewer than 500 loyal APC supporters across the 196 wards of Cross River State. The initiative underscores the Forum’s readiness to deliver results at the grassroots and consolidate the party’s dominance across the state.

Addressing the mobilisation, the Forum declared that the exercise is not a ceremonial show of numbers, but a deliberate political movement aimed at strengthening voter consciousness, reinforcing party loyalty, and consolidating grassroots acceptance of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu and the People-First, Statewide “Season of Sweetness” governance agenda of Governor Prince Otu.

The CRS-FWRO stressed that Ward Relation Officers, as the political nerve centres at the ward level, are strategically positioned to:

  • Drive sustained voter mobilisation and party discipline
  • Aggressively communicate APC-led government policies, achievements, and reforms
  • Serve as effective feedback channels between the people and the government

Describing the mobilisation as strategic, peaceful, and inclusive, the Forum noted that it is designed to cut across political divides, ethnic nationalities, religious affiliations, and social strata, reinforcing Cross River State’s reputation for political sophistication and unity.

The CRS-FWRO unequivocally reaffirmed its total loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and pledged to deploy its full grassroots machinery to guarantee overwhelming support, maximum voter turnout, and decisive political victories for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Prince Bassey Edet Otu, as both leaders continue to provide purposeful leadership and steer Nigeria and Cross River State toward enduring growth, stability, and prosperity.
