The Executive Chairman of Biase Local Government Area, Hon. Edodi Edodi Eyong, has congratulated the newly elected State Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State, following the successful conclusion of the party’s State Congress.
In a statement issued shortly after the congress, Hon. Eyong particularly congratulated the new State Chairman, Hon. Christopher Sunny Etta, and other members of the State Party Executive Committee, describing their emergence as a product of unity and internal democracy within the party.

The Biase Chairman, who attended the congress alongside a strong delegation from the local government area, expressed satisfaction with the peaceful and transparent conduct of the exercise. He attributed the smooth process to the people-first leadership style of Governor Bassey Edet Otu, noting that the governor’s inclusive approach has continued to strengthen party cohesion across the state.
Hon. Eyong also extended special congratulations to Chief Ogbodim Obongha Ogbodim, who emerged as State Auditor, and Hon. Roseline Ukam Ometu, who was elected State Women Leader I. He expressed pride that both party stalwarts hail from Biase Local Government Area, describing their emergence as a significant milestone for the area.

He charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by representing Biase effectively at the state party level and upholding the principles of party supremacy, discipline, and unity.
Reaffirming his commitment to the ideals of the APC, Hon. Eyong urged party faithful across Cross River State to remain united and steadfast in supporting the new leadership, emphasizing that collective effort remains key to consolidating the party’s gains and advancing development across the state.
