The University of Education and Entrepreneurship (UEE), Akamkpa, has elevated 20 Chief Lecturers to the prestigious rank of Associate Professor following a rigorous external review process that spanned several weeks.
In an official statement issued by the institution’s Senior Information Officer, Mr. Francis Agbor, it was disclosed that the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Patrick Nyong Asuquo, announced the significant academic milestone during the inauguration of Senate members at the University’s inaugural Senate meeting held on Friday, April 4, 2025.

The newly elevated Associate Professors are:

In a notable development during the Senate meeting, elections were conducted to select four members to represent the Senate in Council. The elected members are:

Additionally, elections were held to elect three representatives to the University Council from the Congregation and Convocation. The elected members are:
Mrs. Edom Itam – representing Congregation (Academic Staff)
Comrade Owan Harold-Joe Ebam – representing Congregation (Non-Academic Staff)
Comrade Obama Obama Igri – representing Convocation
