The State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), HY Obol Comr. Emmanuel Olayi, has charged the executive members of the National Youth Assembly of Nigeria (NYAN) to remain steadfast in their commitment to youth-centered initiatives.
Obol Olayi gave this charge earlier today during an interactive session with the NYAN State Executive at the Prince Bassey Otu Youth House, where the team paid a courtesy visit to the NYCN leadership.
The NYAN executives, while introducing their organization, described it as a platform dedicated to engaging young people towards contributing meaningfully to societal development. They stated that their visit aimed to familiarize themselves with the NYCN leadership and to seek a strategic partnership for youth development activities across the state.
The team further appealed to the NYCN Chairman to collaborate with them on initiatives that will uplift young people in Cross River State.
In his response, Obol Comr. Olayi commended the NYAN team for their consistent efforts in advancing youth development. He reaffirmed that the Youth House remains an open space for all young people in the state, a center to access leadership opportunities, connect through clusters, and collectively pursue shared goals critical to youth advancement.
He assured the NYAN executives of the NYCN’s readiness to partner with them in promoting unity, fostering collaboration, and committing to service delivery for the benefit of young people.
Members of the visiting NYAN delegation included: Stephen Asuqo Ita, Hon. Obi Roland, Anthony Duke, and Hon. Angela Effiom.
