The Member representing Biase State Constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Francis Ogban, has congratulated the Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Apostle Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, on his victory at the just concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primaries.

In a congratulatory message made available to journalists, Hon. Ogban described the Governor’s emergence as a victory for the collective growth, unity, and development of Cross River State, noting that the outcome reflects the confidence and trust party members have in Governor Otu’s leadership and the People First agenda of his administration.

According to the lawmaker, the successful conduct of the primaries and the Governor’s overwhelming victory further demonstrate the growing acceptance of the APC across the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.

“This victory belongs to every Cross Riverian who desires progress, stability, and inclusive governance,” Hon. Ogban stated, while calling on party members and stakeholders to remain united in the interest of the party and the state.

He urged aggrieved members of the party to place the unity and advancement of Cross River State above personal interests, stressing that the strength of the APC lies in its ability to work together for the common good.

Hon. Ogban also congratulated other APC candidates who emerged victorious in their respective primary elections across the state, emphasizing the need for collective commitment, discipline, and teamwork as the party prepares for the forthcoming general elections.

“To all our candidates, I say congratulations. The task ahead requires unity, discipline, and a shared commitment to delivering victory for the APC at all levels,” he added.

The lawmaker further reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with Governor Otu, party leaders, and stakeholders to ensure overwhelming electoral victories for the APC in Biase Local Government Area, Cross River South Senatorial District, and the state at large.

He expressed confidence that the APC would continue to consolidate on its achievements through purposeful leadership, people-oriented governance, and sustained grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 polls.
