The Special Adviser to the Governor on Content Development and Archiving and Chairman of the Central Planning Committee for the 2026 Cross River State Security Summit, Beatrice Akpala, has expressed profound appreciation to the Governor, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu and other stakeholders for their support towards the successful hosting of the “Unite Against Terror” campaign, held on Thursday, at the Metropolitan Hotel, Calabar.
In a statement issued after the summit, Akpala commended Governor Otu for his visionary leadership, unwavering support, and commitment to peace, security, and sustainable development in Cross River State. She also appreciated the First Lady, Bishop (Dr.) Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, for her encouragement and commitment to initiatives that promote peace and unity.

She further acknowledged the support of the Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Secretary to the Government of the State, Prof. Anthony Owan-Enoh, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon.
