To officially commence activities in the Biase Local Government Area for 2025 and reaffirm his unwavering belief in the supremacy of God, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Edodi Eyong Edodi, joined by his Vice, Hon. Ekuma Ngwu, attended the maiden edition of the Biase LGA Solemn Assembly on Monday, January 6, 2025.
The event, held at the Local Government Secretariat, was graced by political appointees, religious and traditional leaders, and party faithful.
In his address, an elated Hon. Edodi expressed heartfelt gratitude to God Almighty for His mercies, strength, and guidance into the new year. He declared:
“This year, 2025, will be a year of marvels, glory, harmony, and unity. God is not man; His countenance is upon us. We know no other Biase than this—the Biase our founding fathers fought for.”
The Chairman also extended special thanks to HRM. Onun Apostle Nicholas Odum, the Paramount Ruler of Biase LGA, HRH Onun Bassey Eyong, the Clan Head of Abini, for their steadfast support and contributions to the council’s unity and progress.
The Solemn Assembly, a spiritual gathering, sought divine direction, fostered unity, and reinforced collaboration between the Executive Chairman, political appointees, and council staff.
