The member representing Biase State Constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon. (Engr.) Francis Ogban, has extended warm felicitations to the Executive Chairman of Biase Local Government Council, Hon. Edodi Edodi, on the occasion of his 2025 birthday anniversary.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Ogban hailed the council chairman as a selfless and visionary public servant whose dedication, discipline, and unwavering commitment to the development of Biase continue to earn him the admiration and trust of the people. He noted that Hon. Edodi’s style of leadership and developmental strides reflect the “People First” mantra of Governor Bassey Otu and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The lawmaker also commended the chairman’s notable achievements, including the ongoing construction of the Abini Ultra-Modern Market, the provision of water projects across various wards, the construction of the Ibogo Market, renovation of school blocks, empowerment programmes for women, educational support for students, and policy initiatives aimed at enhancing skill acquisition and promoting youth inclusiveness.
Ogban further praised the chairman’s consistent advocacy for peace and his hands-on efforts in resolving communal crises affecting some communities within Biase, noting that his calm and conciliatory approach has helped foster unity and stability in the area.
He prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, and strength for Hon. Edodi as he continues to champion development and build cohesion across Biase. Hon. Ogban also reaffirmed his commitment to sustained collaboration with the council chairman to improve the welfare and prospects of the people of Biase.
