The women wing of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Biase Local Government Chapter ably led by the Chapter Women Leader, Mrs Glory Egong recently joined other notable dignitaries to mourn and witness the burial ceremony in honour of the late Prof. Stella Attoe, National Women Leader of the People’s Democratic Party in Calabar.
Egong, who led the women to the ceremony noted that the late Prof. Stella Attoe was a mother, a proactive leader and mobilizer of women not just within Biase but across the Nation as well as a reputable academia, who left when she was mostly needed, her loss is irreparable.
Prior to the funeral/thanksgiving service, the APC women had pay a condolence visit on the family, where they admonished the family to be console in the fact that, late Prof. Attoe live a good life that is worthy of emulation.
Mrs Egong, on behalf of the women pray that God grant her soul eternal rest in Abraham’s bossom -Amen
Highlight of the condolence visit was the signing of the condolence register and group photograph at the funeral service.
