The Special Assistant on New Media to the Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Comr. Owai Obo, has felicitated Mr. Great Ogban, Director General of the Cross River State Microfinance Development Agency (MEDA), on his birthday, describing him as a strategic asset to the People First administration and a strong driver of economic empowerment.
Comr. Obo praised Mr. Ogban’s leadership at MEDA, noting that under his stewardship, the agency has expanded financial inclusion, strengthened small and medium-scale enterprises, and advanced the economic priorities of the state government. He highlighted Mr. Ogban’s previous service as Special Assistant to the immediate past Governor on Enterprise Development, emphasizing that his transition to DG, MEDA, has been marked by competence, continuity, and results-driven leadership.

According to Comr. Obo, Mr. Ogban’s work aligns fully with the People First agenda of Governor Senator Prince Bassey Otu and the Renewed Hope agenda of President, both of which prioritize economic empowerment, job creation, and sustainable development.
He wished Mr. Ogban good health, renewed strength, and greater achievements, expressing confidence in his continued contribution to the progress of Cross River State.
