Obudu Council Chairman Peter Undiandeye Sends New Month Message for April.Obudu Local Government Chairman, Hon. (Amb) Peter Akonfe Undiandeye, KSM, has extended his New Month Greetings to the people of Obudu and beyond, calling for unity, progress, and a collective commitment to development.
In a statement released on Tuesday through his Chief Press Secretary, Ikwen Atuaka, Hon. Undiandeye expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life and the opportunities that come with a new month. He acknowledged the challenges faced in previous months but reaffirmed his administration’s commitment and ‘Social Contract’ agenda to enhancing the welfare of the people, in line with the ‘People First’ mantra of Governor Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu.
“April offers us another opportunity to work together as a people, fostering peace, development, and prosperity of our enviable Local Government, I encourage every citizen/residents of Obudu to remain steadfast, hopeful, and supportive of our shared vision for a better future,” he stated.
The Chairman outlined his administration’s ongoing efforts in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and youth empowerment, assuring residents that more developmental projects would be unveiled in the coming months.
He also urged citizens to uphold the values of hard work, honesty, and cooperation, emphasizing that unity remains the key to progress. He reassured the people that the Obudu Local Government Council would continue prioritizing policies that drive economic growth and social well-being.
As the new month begins, he encouraged residents to remain law-abiding and supportive of government initiatives aimed at improving their standard of living.
“Let us continue to work hand in hand, support one another, and strive for a more prosperous Obudu. Together, we can achieve great things,” he concluded.
