The Executive Chairman of Obudu Local Government Area, Hon. (Amb) Peter Akonfe Undiandeye, (KSM), has joined other well-meaning Cross Riverians and Nigerians to felicitate His Excellency, Senator (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu, Governor of Cross River State, on the occasion of his 66th birthday anniversary.
In a goodwill message released on Friday, Hon. Undiandeye described Governor Otu as a visionary leader whose People First mantra has brought renewed hope, unity, and progress across the state. He lauded the Governor’s commitment to inclusive governance, infrastructure renewal, and the empowerment of rural communities, noting that Obudu has continued to benefit immensely from his developmental strides.
“His Excellency, Senator (Prince) Bassey Otu, embodies the true spirit of leadership anchored on compassion, wisdom, and service to humanity. Under his watch, Cross River State has witnessed a rebirth of purpose, peace, and prosperity,” Undiandeye said.
The Council Chairman further commended the Governor for prioritizing the welfare of local government areas, particularly through policies that enhance grassroots development and agricultural productivity. He affirmed the unwavering support of Obudu people for the Governor’s transformative agenda.
“As we celebrate this special day, we pray that God continues to bless Governor Otu with long life, strength, and divine wisdom to sustain his efforts in repositioning our dear state for greatness,” he added.
Hon. Undiandeye concluded by reiterating his commitment to complementing the Governor’s vision of a prosperous and united Cross River State built on fairness, equity, and opportunity for all.
