The Executive Chairman of Obudu Local Government Council, Hon. (Amb.) Peter Akonfe Undiandeye, KSM, has called on qualified and interested youths and residents of Obudu to take full advantage of the recently announced recruitment exercise by the Federal Government into various paramilitary agencies.

This follows the official opening of the recruitment portal for the 2025 intake into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), and the Federal Fire Service (FFS), as made public by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB).

Hon. Undiandeye described the opportunity as a commendable initiative by the Federal Government to address youth unemployment and strengthen national security architecture. He encouraged Obudu youths, especially fresh graduates and job seekers with requisite qualifications, to promptly visit the official recruitment portal to submit their applications.

“This is a golden opportunity for our young people to secure meaningful employment in federal paramilitary services. I urge all eligible sons and daughters of Obudu to seize this moment, apply online, and participate in the selection process. Our local government is blessed with vibrant and qualified youths who can serve the nation diligently,” Undiandeye said.

He also emphasized the importance of ensuring authenticity in documentation and warned against engaging with fraudulent individuals or paying anyone to facilitate the application, stating clearly that the recruitment process is entirely free and merit-based.

“Applicants must beware of scammers. The recruitment process is free, transparent and strictly based on merit. No one should pay money to anyone in the name of securing a job,” he cautioned.

For more details and to apply, eligible applicants are advised to visit the official CDCFIB recruitment portal: https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng
