Senator Eteng Jonah Williams Representing Cross River Central at the National Assembly and Chairman Senate Committee on Petroleum Upstream has advocated for love and compassion among constituents as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
In a Christmas message, the Senator said the coming of Jesus into the world saved humanity from darkness and condemnation as he illuminated the hearts of men and women with righteousness and salvation.
Senator Williams used the opportunity to spread the message of love with the delivery of food items including two trailer loads of rice and cash gifts to be distributed to over 1,200 polling units and APC Chapter Excos across the Central Senatorial District of Cross River State.
Additionally, he has distributed cow gifts to leaders/stakeholders of the State for their support. Also, cash gifts to traditional rulers, Christmas hampers to key stakeholders in Central Senatorial District, as well as bags of rice and cash gifts to former legislators in the 8th and 9th Cross River State House of Assembly.
He reiterates his personal commitment to ease the economic difficulties of constituents in this Christmas and New Year celebration.
The Senator assured his constituents of Cross River Central Senatorial District that he would deploy all his experience and contacts towards ensuring that they feel the impact of positive representation during his tenure at the Red Chambers.
While wishing them a blessed Christmas and a joyous New Year ahead, Senator Williams urged them to continue to pray for Cross River State and Nigeria as they embrace the Renewed Hope agenda and Season of Sweetness.
