The management of Hilltop FC, Obudu, has expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Obudu Local Government Council, Hon. (Amb.) Peter Akonfe Undiandeye, KSM, for his unwavering support to the team in the ongoing Governor’s Cup Competition.
According to the Team Secretary, Mr Peter Adalikwu, the club’s management praised the Council Chairman for his consistent commitment to grassroots sports development. He noted that Hon. Undiandeye has continued to demonstrate an uncommon passion for nurturing young talents by providing an enabling environment for sports to thrive in the local government.
The team also extended heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Richard Abu for his thoughtful show of generosity and love during Tuesday’s match against Cocoa Giants of Etung LGA. His gesture, they said, added colour and warmth to an already thrilling encounter and served as a reminder that community support remains a vital pillar of football culture in Obudu.
The management further called on sons and daughters of Obudu, both at home and in the diaspora, to sustain their support for the Council Chairman and the Governor of Cross River State, Senator Prince Bassey Otu, as they continue to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.
